Creating Opportunities Through Education.
Wirkung Health Uganda works with schools and learning centers in Kampala and surrounding areas to support children through teaching, learning activities, educational resources and meaningful interaction.
Our volunteers help support teachers and children, giving learners additional attention while creating opportunities to learn, play, explore and develop their potential.
What We Do.
Teaching Support. Volunteers assist with lessons, lesson plans and learning activities.
Learning Support. We provide additional attention and support to children who may need help with their learning.
Arts & Crafts. Creative activities encourage children to learn, express themselves and develop new skills.
Games, Sports & Music. We use play, sports, music and other activities to make learning enjoyable and engaging.
Educational Supplies. Where possible, we support schools and children with educational materials and supplies.
Day-to-Day Care & Interaction. Volunteers engage with children through conversation, activities and positive social interaction.
